Ariel Meadow Stallings
Ariel Meadow Stallings was born and raised on Bainbridge Island in Washington State, Ariel grew in a log cabin built by her loving hippie parents. She tried one semester as a musical theater major at Boston's Emerson College, but ended up at the University of Washington, studying Sociology and Communications and receiving her BA in 1998.
A writer and editor for a decade, Ariel Meadow Stallings has been published in print and web publications including ReadyMade Magazine, Seattle Weekly, and Movies.com. Ariel is also a sought-after commentator on lifestyle topics, and has been interviewed by NPR's Marketplace, The Seattle Times, San Francisco Chronicle, and Seattle's KUOW radio.
Ariel has been an obsessive blogger since 2000, and compulsively updates and edits several websites including Electrolicious.com and Hooping.org. She is a 2001 graduate of the Columbia Publishing Course at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, and supports herself as a freelance writer and copywriter in Seattle, where she lives with her husband, Andreas.
